Coffee and cigarettes

The house where my husband and I live has an amazing balcony. It's as big as the average bedroom probably. Although it doesn't have a view of anything spectacular, like the beach or a city, It's still very enjoyable.

Each morning my husband gets up and makes coffee and we sit on the balcony either talking about what the day will bring or reading books. We always drink coffee and smoke cigarettes. Those things may not be that healthy, but we enjoy them.

We worry about a lot of things; money, bills, life in general, but while sitting on the balcony we don't have to.

It's a simple joy in our lives, but it means a lot.
